It's here! It's finally here!
My last post regarding the bricks in our backyards? That's right, I finally got around to building us a little fire pit.
I used to love sitting by the fire when I was a kid; it was a staple of our family lifestyle when summer came around.
Nobody wants to heat up the house more than they have to when it's already 30° outside, and we don't yet have a barbecue, so for us, this fire pit is a great help.
It also helps provide a great atmosphere for when we have company over. Summer to me means being able to relax by a fire with my loved ones.
My next big project will be a fence in my backyard so we can comfortably let the dogs run around off-leash without worrying about the busy highway right outside our house.
